Jatinegara is a subdistrict (kecamatan) of East Jakarta, Indonesia. The subdistrict is divided into 8 administrative villages (kelurahan): Bali Mester, Bidaracina, North Cipinang Besar, South Cipinang Besar, Cipinang Cempedak, Cipinang Muara, Kampung Melayu, and Rawa Bunga. Beside, Glodok, Jatinegara is one of Jakarta's China Towns. In Jatinegara, there's a railway station named Jatinegara Station. This is the one of the biggest railway station in Jakarta, instead Jakarta Kota Station, Gambir Station, and Manggarai Station.
