Jared Siefert is an American racecar driver from Green Bay, Wisconsin. He was the 2007 IMCA Modified national champion. His father, Art, is another IMCA Modified driver.[1] [edit] Racing careerSiefert won his first career IMCA Modified track championship at Door County Speedway (now Thunderhill Speedway) in 2002.[2] Siefert won the 2007 IMCA Modified championship.[1] He was the only driver in the nation to win IMCA Modified titles at three tracks. He won Luxemburg Speedway on Friday nights, Shawano Speedway on Saturday nights, and Seymour Speedway on Sunday nights.[3] He competed against 2006 IMCA Modified national champion Benji LaCrosse at both Luxemburg and Seymour. He scored twelve feature wins,[4] winning $12,000 for the championship.[3] He wrote a column in Dick Berggren's Speedway Illustrated magazine.[3] In 2008, he is defending his track championships at Luxemburg, Shawano, and Seymour.[3] Before the Wisconsin racing season started, he raced in a national event at the Talladega Short track.[5] He also went to Iowa to compete in the Frostbuster Weekend, a three race group of pre-season events at Boone Speedway, Marshalltown, Iowa and Beatrice, Nebraska.[4] [edit] References
