Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (also referred to as JBIMS or just Bajaj) is the Department of Management Studies of the University of Mumbai (Bombay) and is the third oldest business school in India[citation needed]. It is known for its financial management programme.
[edit] HistoryFounded in 1965, Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies is the third oldest management institute in India. JBIMS was established by the University of Mumbai in collaboration with the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University. With a donation from the Jamnalal Bajaj Seva Trust. The flagship MMS (Master of Management Studies) program was conceived under the aegis of Mumbai University. Besides that, it offers various management courses for executives. The major objective behind the JBIMS is to evolve an indigenous model of management education in tune with the contemporary demands of both the Indian and the global environment. JBIMS has been rated among the top 25 business schools in the Asia-Pacific region. [edit] ProgrammesThe full-time Master of Management Studies (née.
