James Eckhouse

James Cower Eckhouse (born February 14, 1955) is an American actor known for playing Jim Walsh on Beverly Hills, 90210 from 1990 to 1995. He also directed three episodes of the show.

Before his part on Beverly Hills, 90210, Eckhouse did cameos in such films as Trading Places and Cocktail starring Tom Cruise. He was on Beverly Hills, 90210 from the pilot episode in 1990 to 1995, when Jim and his wife, Cindy, moved to Hong Kong. James studied briefly at MIT before beginning his acting career. He has a wife and two sons and is currently living and working in Los Angeles. His older son is studying film at NYU. His younger son is studying at Deep Springs College. Eckhouse is Jewish.^[1]
