Jallab (from Arabic, جلاب) is a type of syrup popular in the Middle East and made from dates, grape molasses and rose water. In Syria and Lebanon Jallab is very popular, and mainly made of grape molasses, Artificial coloring then smoked with Arabic incense. Mainly sold with crushed ice and floating pine nuts and raisins.
