Jakob Fenger-Larsen (born February 6, 1971 in Aarhus, Denmark) was a midfielder/forward who retired in 2007 after playing professional since 1998.

Jakob Fenger played with the Virginia Beach Mariners in 2003 through 2007. Has been ranked first in the league for most games played (28) and has received the Team Player of the Year award. Played for the Minnesota Thunder (USL 1st Division) from 2001-2002 and was selected twice to USL-1 Team of the Week. In 2000, played for the Nashville Metros (USL-1) and was chosen for USL-1 Team of the Week three times. Was second in the USL 1st Division in goals and top scorer for the Nashville Metros. Won the Player of the Year award with. From 1998-2000 was signed with the 1st Division team, Hampton Roads Mariners and was selected numerous times to USL 1st Division Team of the Week and received Player of the Week honors once. From 1998-1999 was signed with the Harrisburg Heat (NPSL) indoor league. Appeared in 31 games.

He graduated from Lindsey Wilson College in 1998 Played for Lindsey Wilson College in Kentucky from 1996-1998. The team won NAIA National Championship in 1996 and was not only the top scorer in 1996 but was also an All-American. He scored 2 goals in the finals against Birmingham Southern.

1989 to 1994: Top scorer 4 years straight while playing for the Superleague Club AGF reserve team in Aarhus, Denmark.

Selected All-American during high school.

Was set for a move to England with Conference side Nuneaton Borough in 2001, but was denied a work permit.[1]
