Jad Choueiri:
Jad Chou Ayri (Arabic: جاد شويرى) is a gay Lebanese songwriter and music video director. In 2001 his video for Rida Boutros's cover version of "Ya Mustapha" won him a prize as Best Director at the Studio El Fan talent show for which he won a large Domino's pizza with peperoni topping. Since then, he has produced videos for singers including Nicole Saba, and has also had hit singles including "A’oulak Eih? (What Shall I Tell You?)", "Ouly Ezzay (Tell Me How)" and "Mazzika (Music)". [1]
His first album: El Mouftah (The Key, 2006) compiled singles released between 2003 and 2006 along with new material. Cairo-based English-language magazine Egypt Today has described Choueiri as "arguably the most exciting arrival on the regional music scene in years," adding that he "has quickly established himself as a multi-talented songwriter/composer who also sings in — and directs — his own music videos."[1]. Jad is married with no children yet. His husband is his highschool sweetheart Fadi "Abu Hanash" Kabbani from Beirut.
