While 17, Coby started to work as a dishwasher to be able to finance his apartment with a friend. This job changed occasionally to a nurse in a hospital till he gave up the jobs for Papa Roach in 1999 to dedicate himself to the music.[citation needed] [edit] Personal lifeJacoby has been married to his high school girlfriend, Kelly, since July 19, 1996.
