John E. (Jack) Adams (born 5 May 1920, date of death unknown)[1] was a professional ice hockey Left winger in the National Hockey League. He was born in Calgary, Alberta. [edit] Playing careerJack Adams, not to be confused with Jack Adams, the long-time coach of the Detroit Red Wings, played 42 regular season games and three playoff games for the Montreal Canadiens in 1940–41. During the regular season, he scored 6 goals and 18 points and during the playoffs, he was held pointless. He only played that one season in the NHL.
