The Campionato Italiano Rally (C.I.R.) (Italian Rally Championship) is the main Rally championship that takes place in Italy and it's Islands.

As of 2008, the championship comprises 10 rallies, which take place on asphalt and gravel, and included one of the oldest rallies in the world, the Rally Targa Florio, which was first run in 1906^[1].

Any cars are permitted for entrance, except those that are used in the WRC, and may be Super 2000 Four-wheel drive cars with engines up to 2000cc, and there are also Group N cars, and Super 1600 cars allowed.

• Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX
• Renault Clio S1600

• 9 March - 31° Rally Internazionale del Ciocco e Valle del Serchio
• 29 March - 36° Rally di San Marino
• 19 April - 32° Rally 1000 Miglia
• 25 May - 92° Rally Targa Florio
• 15 June - 42 Rally del Salento
• 20 July - 21° Rally di San Crispino e Terra di Romagna
• 31 August - 44° Rally del Friuli e delle Alpi Orientali
• 13 September - 27° Rally Costa Smeralda
• 28 September - 50° Rally di Sanremo
• 12 October - 27° Rally Trofeo ACI di Como
