The Iranian Jerboa (Allactaga firouzi) is a jerboa in the subfamily Allactaginae. The species was listed as critically endangered by the IUCN red list. It is only found (and known from) one small population in Iran. They were found on a flat plain with a gravel substrate and sparse, mountain steppe vegetation. It is a nocturnal animal spending the day in underground burrows. This jerboa has a vegetarian diet. It is threatened by habitat loss and restricted range.
