The International Rendezvous for Socially Conscious Film is an international film festival celebrating filmmakers who, through their work, draw attention to social and humanitarian issues. It is organized every year by the Organizing Committee of the Institut Cinema Vérité in Paris. The first International Rendezvous for Socially Conscious Film took place in October 2007 in Monaco and Paris. The festival opened with "Year Zero: Story Of A Landmine Museum" a 12 minute, promotional short featurette for the upcoming feature length release of "Year Zero: Story Of A Khmer Rouge Soldier". It was introduced by Her Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover-S.A.R. Monaco, and was screened more than any other film in the festival. After premiering in Monaco, it traveled back to Paris to play in two different theaters around the Bastielle monument. [edit] External links
