The International Fellowship of Christians & Jews (IFCJ) is a worldwide organization whose goal is "to promote understanding and cooperation between Jews and Christians and to build broad support for the State of Israel and other shared concerns."[1]

The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews was founded in 1983 by Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein to promote understanding between Jews and Christians and build broad support for Israel and other shared concerns. Now celebrating the 25th year of lifesaving ministry, the vision is that Jews and Christians will reverse their 2,000-year history of discord and replace it with a relationship marked by dialogue, respect and cooperation.

It has headquarters in Chicago and Jerusalem. It is supervised by an independent board of directors and is led by its founder and president, Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein. Rabbi Eckstein is one of the world's leading experts on Christian-Jewish relations, an author and Bible teacher, and was also appointed by the State of Israel as its Goodwill Ambassador to Christian Communities.

In 2007, Rabbi Eckstein received an overall salary and benefits of $823,000, according to a tax return filed in the United States.[2]

In 1990, The Fellowship launched the program On Wings of Eagles to bring Soviet Jews to Israel in the wake of the collapse of the USSR. The organization successfully brought hundreds of thousands of Jews to Israel from the former Soviet Union, Ethiopia, Argentina and other distressed countries.

Since 2000, the program Guardians of Israel helps families suffering from terrorism and poverty in Israel.

Since 1998, the program "Isaiah 58" has provided food, medical care, housing and other basic assistance to poor Jews in the former Soviet Union, and finances a network of safe children's homes throughout the area.

Since 2007, the program "Journey to Zion" is composed of 13 episodes used as a bible teaching program.

Over the years, The Fellowship has raised close to half a billion dollars for Jewish immigration, resettlement, humanitarian and social welfare projects in Israel, and has provided funding for food, housing and social services programs in the former Soviet Union.

Rabbi Eckstein represents the organization in the media and makes regular appearances on television discussing Jews, Judaism, Israel and Jewish-Christian relations.
