Innisfail is a town in central Alberta, Canada. It is located in the Calgary-Edmonton Corridor, south of Red Deer at the junction of Highway 2 and Highway 54.
Innisfail is the birthplace of actress/singer Rebecca Jenkins. This town is also the home of the famous Daines Rodeo. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) dog training facility is located 2 km south of Innisfail.
The town is served by the Innisfail Airport, located north-west of the town.

The population of the Town of Innisfail according to its 2009 municipal census is 7,883.[3]
In 2006, Innisfail had a population of 7,316 living in 2,962 dwellings, a 5.4% increase from 2001. The town has a land area of 13.02 km2 (5.0 sq mi) and a population density of 562.0 /km2 (1,455.6/sq mi).[2]
