Ibrahima Traoré (born 21 April 1988 in Villepinte^[1]) is a French-born Guinean professional footballer who plays in Germany for FC Augsburg.

Traoré began his career with Charenton and was than transferred in summer 2004 to Levallois SC^[2]. At Levallois played his first four professional games in the Championnat de France Amateurs 2 and was than transferred on 1 January 2007 to Hertha BSC. His first professional game in the Bundesliga for Hertha BSC against 1. FC Nuremberg on 9 December 2007^[3]. On 6 July 2009 Traoré began a trial in Oberhaching with FC Augsburg.^[4] Traoré signed a two year contract with Augsburg on 14 July 2009.^[5]

Traoré was born in Villepinte, France; his mother was born in Lebanon while his father comes from Guinea.
