Ian Blackwood (born August 12, 1982) is a Canadian actor and musician, best known for playing Kyle Bateman on the CTV teen hit Instant Star.^[1]^[2]

He is also the lead singer of a Toronto-based rock band, The Artist Life. He also played drums in Jersey and The Fullblast.^[3]^[4]^[5] He is the brother of Sarah Sin and Jen Hellcat of The Creepshow.^[6] Blackwood recorded and mixed Sarah Blackwood's first solo album Way Back Home.^[7]
