Hungama TV is a TV channel for kids in India. Originally a subsidiary of UTV Software Communications launched in 2004, the channel was sold to Disney in 2006^[1]. The channel retained its own identity and is helping to increase Disney's presence in India. Hungama is now an operating unit of Disney Channel Worldwide.

The only local kids' 11 hours Hindi Entertainment channel in India, Hungama TV has been on high heels since its inception and now it has reached the second position in kids channel genre. It hosts two of the most popular comedy shows of India, Doraemon and Shinchan, which is, probably, the key to its popularity.

The official website of Hungama TV is based on a clothing line, where all the logos of Hungama programs are placed. HungamaTV.com does not look like something that Disney owns, since the site is outside Disney's site themes, and no effort has been put in the making of HungamaTV.com, thus having a bad look.
