Hope Dworaczyk (born November 21, 1984 in Port Lavaca, Texas, U.S.[1][2]) is an American runway and print model. She is also the host and co-producer for Inside Fashion on television in Canada for the E! channel. Her runway work includes such names as Balenciaga, Robert Rodriguez, Lana Fuchs, Leila Rose, Abaete, Joanna Mastroianni, Rosa Cha, XOXO and Miss Sixty. Other career highlights include an international world tour for Versace with visits to Tokyo, Milan, London and New York and print campaigns for brands such as Philippe Patek and Elie Saab, among others.[3] She is currently based out of Los Angeles (as of May 2009) and she travels internationally to fashion weeks around the world.[4] She was selected as Playboy's Playmate of the Month for April 2009 after testing for the 55th Anniversary Playmate search.[1] Dworaczyk shared the cover of the April 2009 issue with Seth Rogen. Her centerfold pictorial was photographed by Stephen Wayda.[1] [edit] Personal lifeDworaczyk was born in Port Lavaca, Texas. She first gained attention when she won the pageant, Miss Teen Texas in 2000.[2] Dworaczyk once dated NBA player Jason Kidd.[5] On January 10, 2008, news broke that she and Kidd were expecting a child together.[6] Dworaczyk has claimed those were nothing more than tabloids and rumors as she and Kidd do not have a child together.[7] After Kidd was traded from the New Jersey Nets to the Dallas Mavericks both Dworaczyk and Kidd relocated and were settling into their Dallas penthouse apartment.[8] When Dworaczyk received the offer to pose for Playboy, her main concern was her family. Dworaczyk went to her grandmother who told Hope that if she were Hope's age and had the opportunity, she would go for it. Dworaczyk was quoted saying, "If Grandma or Nanna approves it, who cares what anybody else says?" She also has stated that, she "didn't think modeling in high fashion sheer, see-through blouses on the runway was all that different from wearing nothing at all."[2] [edit] References
