"Hollywood" was planned to be the fourth single from rapper Jay-Z's ninth studio album, Kingdom Come. The song features Jay-Z's wife, R&B singer Beyoncé. With an original release date of February 2007, the single was repeatedly pushed back probably due to Beyoncé's duet with Shakira, "Beautiful Liar" being released at the same time as "Hollywood". The single was supposed to be released in the U.K. in the summer of 2007, but plans were later scrapped.

The song is also featured on the deluxe edition of Beyoncé's B'Day with Beyoncé on lead and all of Jay-Z's rap verses removed under the title "Welcome to Hollywood".

[edit] Charts

"Hollywood" entered Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart in February 2007, and achieved a peak at number 56.

It also charted in Australia, reaching number number 25 on the urban chart and at number 47 on the physical singles chart as well as number 98 on the ARIA top 100 singles.
