[edit] Storyline

John, played by Astier, travels to a small village in the south of France for the burial of his grandmother. While spending a few days there at his aunt's home, he gets the feeling that the people are keeping things from him. Strange events abound. Eventually he discovers that the village is inhabited by has-been superheroes, and, secretly, a supervillian who everyone thinks is long dead.[3]

The production company's ultimate owner is the French conglomerate Lagardère Group.[citation needed] The show is mostly shot in the Lozère department, with a ruined castle near Mende providing the lair of "The Lord", the show's supervillian.[4] Some scenes were shot in Montreal, Canada. Music is provided by the French composer Etienne Forget.
