Heralding - The Fireblade is the most recent album for the Viking metal band Falkenbach. This record is made up of songs originally intended to be Falkenbachs debut album Fireblade, which was shelved in 1995. For the 15-year anniversary of the band, the tracks were finally re-recorded (using the same session musicians as on Ok Nefna Tysvar Ty) and released. The album was also released as a limited-edition digipack with the bonus track Gjallar[1]. Two of the tracks, Laeknishendr and Skirnir appeared on the 1995 demo Laeknishendr. Skirnir and Laeknishendr also appeared on a CD sampler from the British magazine Metal Hammer. Heathen Foray had also appeared on the 1998 record ...Magni Blandinn Ok Megintiri... under the title The Heathenish Foray. [edit] Track listing
This album was released as a limited edition digipack along with the standard version. This limited version contained different album art and a bonus track (Track 9.). [edit] Personnel
