[edit] Story

The story revolves around the mistaken straying (due to a car accident which also caused him to suffer amnesia) of Rishi Kapoor into the Pakistani side of Kashmir from his own home in Srinagar but actually shot in Manali himachal pradesh. Already suffering from amnesia, with him falls in love a native girl Heena (Zeba Bakhtiyar), amidst the controversial Indian-Pakistani tension on Kashmir which leads him to be suspected by the Pakistani police of being an Indian spy.

The movie was a big hit especially for the breath taking locations it was shot in and the excellent musical score that included all time hit "Main hoon khusrang heena","Anaaradana" and "Der Na Ho Jayee".
