Hemant Brijwasi (Devanāgarī: हेमंत ब्रजवासी, born in 1998) is the winner of (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs 2009), a singing competition aired on Zee TV. The first runner-up was Yatarth Ratnum Rastogi followed by Shreyasi Bhattacharjee. Hemant got eliminated on July 18, 2009 due a rare ordinary performance, but bounced back in contention through the wild card entry on August 8, 2009. He earned special acclaim from Suresh Wadkar, the judge in the wild card round. And earned acclaim from some widely known genius, like Wadali brothers, Asha Bhosle, Khayyam, Anandji. [edit] Criticism Hemant was also criticised for not being a versatile singer. He could sing Hindustani Classical and Sufi songs beautifully, but did not do too well with soft romantic numbers.
