Haskell Vaughn Anderson III is an American film, television and theater actor. He is perhaps most widely known for his prominent supporting role in the 1989 martial arts film Kickboxer, which starred Jean-Claude Van Damme. In addition to his theater work, Anderson has had numerous small parts in film and on television, including roles on ER and The West Wing. He also had a leading role in the 1976 blaxploitation film Brotherhood of Death. It has to be duly noted that this year, 2009, haskell starred in the original play 'LIONS' by Vincent Melocchi. The play was honored to be submitted to the jury for the 2009 Pulitzer Prize for most Distinguished Play for 2009. LIONS premiered at the renowned Pacific Resident Theatre in Venice, California. Haskell is also involved in the development of the feature film screenplay '40 Days Road'. The narrative film log line is " A man loses is religion but regains his faith". The film takes place in the Sudan in the mist of the Darfur conflict.
