Harvey Lee Catchings (born September 2, 1951, in Jackson, Mississippi) is an American former professional basketball player in the NBA.

He played for the Philadelphia 76ers, New Jersey Nets, and Milwaukee Bucks, and finished his career with the Los Angeles Clippers in 1985. He has career averages of 3.2 ppg and 5.0 rpg.

Catchings is the father of WNBA star Tamika Catchings, who currently plays for the Indiana Fever. Catchings is currently a Reverse Mortgage Consultant with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
