Happy Madison Productions or simply Happy Madison, is an American film/television production company founded by actor/comedian Adam Sandler in 1999. Fellow performers, writers (and friends of Sandler) Allen Covert, Nick Swardson, Jonah Hill, Jackie Sandler, Justin Long, Todd Holland, Steve Zahn, John P. Farley, Tim Meadows, David Hasselhoff, Robert Smigel, Courteney Cox, Rachel Dratch, John Turturro, Nicholas Turturro, Dan Patrick, Terry Crews, Sean Salisbury, Kevin Nash, Erinn Bartlett, Dan Aykroyd, Blake Clark, Tim Meadows, Norm Macdonald, Judd Apatow, John Lovitz, Eddie Griffin, John Heder, Peter Dante, Jonathan Loughran, Rob Schneider, Steve Buscemi, David Spade, Henry Winkler, Chris Rock, Dana Carvey, Kevin James, Dave Attell, Kevin Nealon, Dana Goodman, Julia Lea Wolov, Maya Rudolph, and Anna Faris have headlined films by starring in films and television series under the Happy Madison banner.

In addition to various Sandler-produced films, the company has also produced movies for other directors including Steven Brill (Little Nicky, Mr. Deeds), Dennis Dugan (The Benchwarmers, I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, You Don't Mess With The Zohan, Grown Ups), Frank Coraci (Click, The Zookeeper), Fred Wolf (Strange Wilderness, The House Bunny), Tom Brady (The Hot Chick, Born To Be A Star), Peter Segal (Anger Management, 50 First Dates, The Longest Yard), and Nicholaus Goossen (A Day with the Meatball, Grandma's Boy, The Shortcut).

Happy Madison takes its name from the films Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison, two of many box office successes starring Sandler himself, both produced by Robert Simonds. The elderly man depicted in the logo is Sandler's late father, Stanley Sandler.

The company's production office is located in the Judy Garland building on the Sony Pictures Studios lot in Culver City, California while its corporate and parent company offices (Happy Madison, Inc.) are located in Manchester, New Hampshire[1] run by Adam's brother Scott.

Its subsidiary, Madison 23 Productions, is aimed towards the drama genre. The first production under Madison 23 was Reign Over Me, starring Adam Sandler and Don Cheadle. This studio company on the trailer of Funny People and the poster and trailer for Reign Over Me can also be known as "Mr. Madison Productions". It was recently announced that Sandler would be executive-producing horror thriller, The Shortcut, under his new Scary Madison production label. But sometimes, it has been called "Mr. Madison 23 Productions".
