Mr. Haji S/o Mehar Ali Khoja known as H.M Khoja was a renowned educationist of Sindh, whose name is written in golden words in the history of Sindh for his services rendered in education sector. Khoja Sahib was born on October 08, 1908 at Tango Bagho (Badin District). Since 1932, he rendered his services as a teacher at Larkana, Naushehroferoze and later on 1st June 1936, he joined as Head Master Local Board Middle School Nawabshah, which was reached at the status of High School in 1940. Khoja sahib served as a Headmaster of this school up to 29th September 1972 and from October 1972 to 1979, he performed his responsibilities as Chairman, Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Hyderabad. For acknowledgement of his meritorious services, Khoja Sahib was awarded presidential award Tamgha-e-Khidmat (TK).

• H.M Khoja (Government Provincialized) High School No. 2
• H.M Khoja Auditorium.
• SZABIST H.M Khoja Institute of Education.
• H.M Khoja Girls High School.

H.M Khoja was expired on 20th September 1999.

H.M Khoja Annual Flower Show was introduced by H.M Khoja in the year 1954 at Khoja Garden. The event is celebrated for 3 to 4 days. This type of activities create healthy competition, self confidence and creative thinking among young students of the district in particular and entertainment to common people, house hold & working women and children in general. The District Government Nawabshah under the pateroage of Muhtarma Faryal Talpur has been kind enough to take this show in the year 2004.

The Main Events of Flower Show are:

• Flowers & Plants Display by the different institutions, Forest Department, Civil Aviation Authority, Indus Rangers, Zamindars, Growers & other participants. Certificates, Shields and Cash Prizes in seasonal flowers and permanent flowers are also awarded to participants and winners.

• Drawing and Art Fair by displaying Drawing, Art and Craft work and creative things made by students of educational institutions of the District. Certificates, Shields and Cash Prizes among winner students are also awarded.

• Science Fair by displaying science articles prepared by students of educational institutions of the District. Certificates, Shields and Cash Prizes in five categories (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology & Computer Science) are also awarded to participants and winners.

• Presentation of culture of Sindh in Cultural stalls by the educational institutions, social and cultural organizations. Certificates, Shields and Cash Prizes are also awarded to participants and winners.

• Presentation of Tableaus, speeches, songs and other display items at Stage. Certificates, Shields and Cash Prizes are also awarded to participants and winners for their encouragement.

• Presentation of meritorious Shields among the guests, office bearers and special participants.

The show was continuously held from the year 1954 to 1972 & unfortunately it was discontinued from 1973 to 1980 due to retirement of Late Khoja Sahib.

The event was again continued with all features by Mr. Mohan Lal H. Nachnani the former Headmaster of G.P (D.C) High School & District Education Officer Nawabshah from the year 1991 to 1996. The event was again discontinued from the year 1997 to 2003.

Then the show was taken by the District Government with more attractive features under the patronage of Mohtarma Faryal Talpur the former Zila Nazim from the year 2004 to 2007.

Unfortunately the event was cancelled by the District Government due to security reasons in the year 2008.
