Gregg Zehr was leader of the hardware team which developed the Amazon Kindle.^[1] During product development, this group was known as Lab126.^[2]

He was formerly VP of Hardware Engineering at palmOne, VP Engineering at VA Linux and VP PowerBook Engineering at Apple. Various other members of staff in the Kindle team had worked at either Apple or Palm.^[2]
