Greg Gallman (born 6 December 1988) is an Australian Rules Footballer who was a player for the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League. He attended Saint Ignatius' College, Adelaide, where he won the MVP award for the college's First XVIII team in 2005. In 2006 he played for South Australia at the 2006 NAB AFL Under-18 Championships, impressing enough that he was drafted by the Adelaide Crows in the 2006 Rookie Draft as a key defender. Gallman is 187 cm tall and weighs 84 kg. After being selected as a rookie for Adelaide, Gallman began 2007 in the North Adelaide reserves side in the SANFL, being promoted to the senior side during the year. His performances secured him promotion off the Adelaide Crows rookie list at the end of the 2007 AFL season, the only Adelaide rookie to be retained. After a quiet but solid season in the SANFL, Gallman played for Adelaide against the Indigenous All-Stars on February 7, 2009 in Darwin. He took a heavy knock late in the game, suffering a broken collarbone, which cost him a chance to earn AFL selection in the early rounds of the season, and persistent injuries prevented him from doing so during the season. After three years for Adelaide without playing a game, Gallman was one of five players delisted by the Crows after the 2009 season. [edit] External links
