It is organized by the Greek Basketball Federation. [edit] History and format The first cup took place in the year 1976. From 1995 to 2004, the Final Four format was used. The competition format in recent years includes a total of 46 teams; 14 from the Greek A1 League, 16 from the Greek A2 League and 16 from the Greek B League.
