Graham Gano (born April 9, 1987 in Arbroath, Scotland) is an American football placekicker for the Las Vegas Locomotives of the United Football League. He played college football at Florida State, where he won the Lou Groza Award and garnered All-America honors during his senior season. He was considered to be one of the best kicker prospects available in the 2009 NFL Draft.[1]

He grew up in Pensacola, Florida and attended J.M. Tate High School

He signed with the Baltimore Ravens as a free agent immediately after the 2009 NFL Draft.

He was waived September 5th due to his loss to Steve Hauschka for the Ravens starting kicker job in the 2009 preseason.

Gano was signed by the Las Vegas Locomotives of the United Football League after being cut by the Ravens. He has the notoriety of earning the first points for the league after converting a 32-yard field goal, and also currently the longest UFL field goal at 53 yards. He was also responsible for the winning field goal which gave the Locomotives the first ever UFL championship.[2]
