Grégory Béranger (born August 30, 1981 in Nice) is a French footballer who currently plays for UD Las Palmas of the Spanish second division on loan from RCD Espanyol, mainly as a left defender. [edit] Football careerAfter starting out professionally with AS Cannes, in the lower leagues, Béranger moved to Spain in 2005, playing three seasons in its second division. In 2007–08, he was one of CD Numancia's most utilized players (37 matches, 3313 minutes) as it returned to La Liga, after a three-year absence. In July 2008, Béranger moved to RCD Espanyol, being fairly used in his debut season, while also struggling with some injuries. He returned to the Spanish second level after just one season, loaned to UD Las Palmas. [edit] External links
