Gordie Gosse is a Canadian politician and member of the Nova Scotia House of Assembly, representing the electoral district of Cape Breton Nova for the Nova Scotia New Democratic Party.
Before entering public service Gosse was an athlete and an employee of the Sydney Steel Corporation. A youth worker, Gosse was the Executive Director of the Whitney Pier Youth Club for ten years[1].
Gosse was first elected in the 2003 general election with a narrow margin of 74 votes, achieving 44.54% of the vote[2]. He was re-elected in 2006 with 60.92%, a increase of 2521 votes[3] and in 2009 with 71.07% and a margin of 3186 votes over his nearest opponent [4][5].
