Gordon Robert "Gosh" Pettinger (b. November 11, 1911 in Harrogate, England - d. April 12, 1986) is a retired British professional ice hockey centre who played 8 seasons in the National Hockey League for the New York Rangers, Detroit Red Wings, and Boston Bruins. Pettinger won 4 cups with 3 different teams New York Rangers 1933, Detroit Red Wings 1936, 1937, and Boston 1939. His brother Eric Pettinger played in NHL for several teams including Boston and Toronto. He grew up in Regina, Saskatchewan. [edit] External links
