Godmother is a Hindi movie directed by Vinay Shukla released in 1999, and ostensibly inspired by the life of Santokben Jadeja.

This movie had Shabana Azmi playing the author backed lead role for which she won National Film Award for Best Actress, 1999, while Sanjeev Abhyankar won the National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer for the film ^[1]
