Gilda de Abreu was born in Paris in September 23, 1904 and died in Rio de Janeiro on June 4, 1979.[1] She was a director, actress, singer, writer and radio presenter in Brazil. She was married to Vicente Celestino until his death in 1968. Gilda first started appearing in theater productions in 1933, when she starred in the romantic comedy "Jennifer of silk" produced by Ademar Gonzaga.
