Gerald Mervin Vanenburg (born March 5, 1964 in Utrecht, Utrecht) is a former Dutch football player, who played as a right winger. He has earned 42 caps for the Netherlands national football team, in which he scored one goal. He was a member of the PSV team that won the European Cup in 1988 and a member of the Dutch team that won the European title at the 1988 European Football Championship in West Germany.

Nicknamed Vaantje and Geraldinho, he played for Ajax Amsterdam (1980-86), PSV Eindhoven (1986-93), Jubilo Iwata (1993-96), FC Utrecht (1997), AS Cannes (1997-98), and 1860 München (1998-2000). After his professional career he was caretaker-manager with 1860 München in 2004 for a couple of months, and started as a head coach for Helmond Sport in Holland's second division (Eerste Divisie) in the summer of 2006. He was fired there on Saturday February 17, 2007. Since December 20 2007 he is head coach of FC Eindhoven, a second division club in Holland.
