[edit] Biography

He started playing in 1972 with Sport Boys Callao. In 1974 he moved to play with Defensor Lima. In 1975 he arrived to Monterrey, Mexico to play with UANL Tigres, a team in which he scored over 61 goals in the 6 years he played there. Aside from his goalscoaring, Barbadillo also played 17 Clásico Regiomontano derby matches against Monterrey, main rival. He became team hero and is remembered as a legend. Because he is considered the best player the team has ever had, his number, #7, has been retired and immortalized.
