George Alhassan (born 9 September 1941) is a former Ghanaian footballer.
[edit] Club careerOn club level Alhassan played for Hearts of Oak in the domestic football league. He later played in UAE before joining El-Ahly in Egypt for a short period only due to his long term injury problems. [edit] International careerAlhassan made several appearances for the Ghana national football team, including qualifying matches for several FIFA World Cups.[1] He played for the Ghana squad who won the 1978 African Cup of Nations held in Ghana.[2] He also played for Ghana at the 1968 Summer Olympics.[3] [edit] Honours
