Full Circle is the fourth album by the American rock band Creed, released on October 27, 2009.^[7] It is Creed's first release since their 2004 compilation album Greatest Hits, their first studio album since 2001's Weathered, and their first studio album to feature original bassist Brian Marshall in almost exactly a decade. The record was produced by Howard Benson. The album was completed on July 31, 2009, as announced by Scott Stapp. Four days later, the album cover was revealed through the band's official e-news.

The 2009 Creed Reunion Tour began August 6 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and concluded October 20, 2009, in Hidalgo, Texas. Originally, Flyleaf and Fuel were to be the opening bands, but the New Zealand band Like a Storm and Hoobastank opened for Creed in the first leg of the concert, while Lo-Pro and Staind opened for the second leg, with Saliva doing the last five shows and Like a Storm returning near the end of the tour.^{[citation needed]} This reunion tour featured all original members of the band as well as former Submersed guitarist Eric Friedman, a friend of Mark Tremonti's who provided rhythm guitars and backing vocals. The band played five songs ("Overcome", "Rain", "Bread of Shame", "Full Circle", and "A Thousand Faces") from their album Full Circle, as well as old hits throughout the tour.

On October 24, 2009, it was confirmed by Scott Phillips that Creed was to go on a world tour in March 2010, starting with another United States tour, followed by Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South America, and Europe.^[8]

Full Circle has received mixed reviews. On October 27, 2009, Toro magazine rated the album 1.5 out of 5, commenting, "Full Circle is big and dumb, obviously, but it’s also unforgivably boring, as few really big dumb successful bands are, and unlikely to fool again those who fell for the trick so many years ago."^[9] As of October 31, 2009, users on Ultimate Guitar rated the album 8 on a scale of 10.^[10]

Full Circle debuted at number 2 on the Billboard 200, selling 110,000 copies in its first week of release in the U.S., behind Michael Jackson's album This Is It.^[11]

The title of the album involves the instrumental band members coming "full circle" and deciding that a reunion was the best thing to do. The title track is about the reunion.^[12]
