The Free Souls Motorcycle Club is a one-percenter motorcycle gang^[1]^[2] that was formed in Eugene, Oregon in 1968.^{[citation needed]} The club has over 100 members and there are a number of club chapters throughout the U.S. state of Oregon and a single chapter in Vancouver, Washington.^[1] The club's insignia is an ankh, the ancient Egyptian symbol of eternal life, and their "colors" are blue and white.^[2] It is one of the "big five" motorcycle clubs in Oregon, alongside the Vagos, Brother Speed, Gypsy Jokers and the Outsiders.

[edit] Criminal activities

On June 26 2003, the Eugene Police Department raided a Free Souls clubhouse and seized a number of stolen motorcycles. One man was also charged with manufacturing and selling methamphetamine.^[3]

Three Free Souls members were arrested on a number of charges on May 2 2007, after the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and local police raided six homes in Eugene. Ten stolen motorcycles, guns, methamphetamine, marijuana and hashish oil were seized.^[4]
