[edit] FeaturesLeveling and Exp The game utilizes an experience based leveling system like most other MMORPG. When you have reached a certain EXP requirement, you will level up to the next level. When you level up; you will be rewarded with Attribute points, which make your character stronger, faster, etc. Points and GKash There are 2 types of currencies in FSSB, points and GKash. Points are rewarded after each game like EXP. And GKash is purchased with real money via PayPal. Both are used to buy Skills, Freestyles, Clothes, and various accessories. Although, there are certain items and skills that can only be bought by GKash. Some clothing items have an expiration date, and will disappear after the date. Attribute Points By leveling up, you character increases in attributes.
[edit] The Closing of North American FreeStyle Street BasketballAs of September 25 2008, the North American version of FreeStyle Street Basketball hosted by Sierra Online, was officially discontinued. Like most MMORPGs, the closing of North America FS has brought much drama from the player community. This was due, in part, to the fact that the game featured a registered version and purchasable items that many players had paid for. No refunds were offered. Many were enraged at Sierra Online, now part of Activision-Blizzard, for the sudden announcement while others tried to petition the publisher to bring it back. No attempts were successful. Many players found ways to play in other versions of Freestyle hosted in different countries, such as: Taiwan, Thai, Philippines, Singapore, etc. Most players gave up due to connection problems from oversea lag and IP blocks. [edit] The Opening of "Global" Freestyle 2009GameKiss has started Open Beta Testing on May 6, 2009. The accounts from Closed Beta Testing were deleted. GK Freestyle is now available to all countries, now also feature in game cash service via PayPal. [edit] External links | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
