Fredy Williams Thompson León (born June 2, 1982 in Puerto Barrios, Izabal) is a Guatemalan professional footballer, who currently plays for Albinegros de Orizaba of the Mexican Primera División A and the Guatemalan national team.

Thompson started his career at Guatemalan giants CSD Comunicaciones and joined bitter rivals CSD Municipal in 2007. A move to Europe or American Major League Soccer had been mentioned for some time, but he joined Mexican side Orizaba in 2008.

He made his debut for the Guatemalan national team in the 2003 Gold Cup. He went on to represent Guatemala during the 2006 World Cup qualification and 2010 World Cup qualification rounds^[2]. He has also captained the national side in the absence of Carlos Ruiz.
