Freddy Fever is the official mascot of the Indiana Fever, a professional women's basketball team that plays in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). He appears at each of the Fever home games as well as special events for the WNBA, such as the WNBA All-Star Game. He was first introduced on June 3, 2000 in the Fever's first ever home game at Conseco Fieldhouse against the Orlando Miracle in a losing effort, 88-82. In addition to being at every Fever game, Freddy Fever makes appreances at birthday parties and a variety of community events.
