Fraser Anderson (born 20 April, 1984 in Auckland, New Zealand) is a New Zealand professional rugby union and former professional rugby league footballer who currently plays for the Kobe Steel Kobelco Steelers. He is of Tongan descent.

Fraser Anderson attended The Church College of New Zealand.[citation needed]

Anderson made his first grade rugby league debut for the Brisbane Broncos in Round 14, 2006 against South Sydney Rabbitohs at Telstra Stadium.

Anderson has been a regular in the Cronulla Sharks line up either in the centres, in the forwards or on the bench during the 2007 and 2008 seasons.

On the 24 February, 2009 it was announced that Fraser Anderson had been granted an immediate release from his Sharks contract to take up a two year contract with Top League Japanese rugby union club, Kobe, worth A$400,000 per year.[1][2]

Anderson was named in both the Tonga training squad and the New Zealand training squad for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.[3][4] Anderson was finally selected to play for Tonga in the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.[5]
