MUDr. František Albert (April 29, 1856 – July 22, 1923) was a Czech surgeon and writer.

František Albert was born into the family of aclockmaker in Žamberk. Other famous members of the family were Eduard Albert (1841–1900), surgeon and writer, Tereza Svatová (1858–1940), writer, and Kateřina Thomová (1861–1952), founder of amateur theatre and the municipal museum in Žamberk. He died in Potštejn.
