Fracture was the first free, UK based punk zine.

Produced in Cardiff, Wales until 2003, Fracture was described as the UK's answer to Maximum RocknRoll. Fracture was produced 25 issues in newsprint, with the final few issues having glossy full-colour covers.

Fracture was distributed throughout the UK through independent shops, distributors and promoters, and in the US by No Idea Records. Production of the fanzine ceased in order that the editors could concentrate on the record label Newest Industry, which was established 2002.
