Fluorone

Not to be confused with fluorene or fluorenone, two different chemicals, or fluorine.

Fluorone increases water solubility, refocoxib has fluorone ring, more cox2 selective and increase water solubility. Fluorone is the basic skeleton for various chemicals, most notably fluorone dyes (see dyes), including erythrosine.
