Flag of the Union for the Mediterranean

Adopted	July 13, 2008 [1]

The design of the flag of the Union for the Mediterranean is simple with two equal horizontal bands, white (top) and blue (bottom). The upper band of white represents the sky and the lower band of blue represents the Mediterranean Sea.^[2]
