Village of Fillmore
—  Home of Rod Boll, Ol

Olympic trap shooter in 1996, Atlanta, Georgia. He placed well and fought hard, which fits with the attitude of this small town.

Fillmore has ever been a rival with the towns of Stoughton and Midale. Over time, the rivalry with Midale faded, but the rivalry with Stoughton still boils.

Fillmore has the businesses of Fillmore Agro, a fertilizer and chemical retailer, and Fill-more Seeds, a pulse seeds distributer.

Fillmore remains a major destination for hunter enthusiasts from across the border, and this is a major business for the town.

In 2005, the Fillmore Bar burned down, which was a major blow for the community. Since then, the town has bounced back with a volunteer bar in the local recreation centre.

Fillmore is most widely known for its success in the sport of basketball. The senior girls team won seven gold medals in the past eight years, and the senior boys have had success as well, with two bronze medals. Volleyball is a sport that Fillmore is not as well known for, but they have won two gold medals for recently.  —
